To curb Corona, the government has implemented Zero Covid Policy in China, in which people are absolutely prohibited from leaving their homes. This is the policy in which China asks the corona infected person to live separately. But for the last several months, those who have been adopting the zero covid policy while staying aloof, have lost their patience and have come out on the streets against it.
People say that they are not able to access essential facilities ranging from food and drink to medical etc., and on the other hand, there is a ban on leaving the house and the situation is such that life has become difficult.

Protests are being seen in different cities of China. These demonstrations have reached 13 big cities including Beijing, Shanghai. The protesters are raising their voice against the zero covid policy. This protest is being seen against the current government of China. Protesters are shouting slogans against President Xi Jinping. Even his resignation is being demanded.

The deployment of police force has been increased in the cities where demonstrations are being held. In such a situation, clashes are also being seen between the police and the protesters. After the incident of arson on November 25, the protest turned fierce
In view of this demonstration which started from November 25, the Chinese government has also announced relaxation in the rules of Corona. The protests flared up when a fire broke out in an apartment in China’s Xinjiang city and the fire brigade personnel could not reach in time. Due to which 10 people lost their lives in this accident. Actually, due to the zero covid policy, the employees of the fire department had reached late to extinguish the fire in the apartment. Due to which this fire became fierce.

Anger erupted among the people regarding this incident and people took to the streets against the Zero Covid policy. People are demanding human rights and freedom through this protest by raising slogans for their rights and taking poster banners in their hands. Freedom of Movement is written in their posters and banners, which has been snatched away by the Chinese government in the name of Zero Covid policy.
Why are the cases of corona increasing in China?
But meanwhile the question arises that why are so many cases of corona increasing in China? Has China succumbed to Corona or the strategy China is adopting against Corona is proving to be a failure.
Schools are closed in China. Children are studying online while staying at home. Shops, restaurants are locked. Many people are forced to stay at the workplace. Where they are not getting any help. Still the cases of corona are increasing continuously. One of the major reasons for this is that people are not getting adequate medical facilities and due to the people who are sick, the infection is increasing.
About 40 thousand cases came in China on Monday
According to the National Health Commission of China, 39,452 cases of corona infection were recorded on Monday. Out of which 36,304 cases were such that patients did not have symptoms of corona.
215 cases came in the last 24 hours in India
While in the increasing cases of Corona, India, which was second in the world, has controlled Corona. Situation like lockdown is also not visible. According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry, 215 new cases of corona infection were reported in the country on Monday. Which is the lowest since April 2020.
